Leaders! Leaders! Attention leaders! If you are a leader in an organization or a company, a church or a school, a family or a social group, the call of God for you is to lead well. When you lead well, when you lead with righteousness, the people rejoice and they are blessed. But when the wicked rule, the people suffer and groan. Wickedness is defined as evil or moral wrongness. While most Christian leaders are not evil, a number may be found to be morally wrong and this ranges from lack of integrity (saying one thing but doing another) to ill-intentions, from telling half-truths to outright sabotage, from greed to sexual immorality. God has placed us in positions of leadership to bless and liberate people, not to put them under a yoke. Sometimes what we say and do can put people under a yoke or burden, bringing people under bondage instead of setting people free. So leaders need to put our ears on the ground and listen to the voice and sometimes cry of the ground. As you walk with the Lord today, be a loving and righteous leader, bringing joy and liberty to the people you lead. Have a great day!
