God has saved us and called us to a holy life. Though we were wretched sinners, yet He rescued us from our sins because of His purpose and grace. We are a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, called out of darkness into His marvelous light! In view of such amazing love and grace, we are to live a holy life. We have been called out of darkness and into God’s light, Christians should therefore never continue to live in sin and darkness. A true follower of Christ does not walk with God and yet immerse himself or herself in the unholy philosophies and ungodly practices of the world. Light and darkness do not go hand in hand. Using the words of Pastor Edmund Chan, he said something like this: you can’t follow Jesus and yet hold hands with the devil! As you walk with God today, remember to walk in the light for you are saved and called to live a holy life. Have a great day!
