To win spiritual battles, we are to be sober-minded and humbly submit ourselves to God. Draw near to God and He will draw near to us. The other important thing that is often neglected is to know the devil’s agenda and to resist him, then he will flee from us.
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
9 Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.
James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
